Jerusalem is mentioned in the bible, and no where in the Quran. The Israelis are fighting for their home. The Palestines are fighting because that's what they do. I buy Sabra Hummus, own a Tar-21 and support Israel 100%. Does Israel seem to ignore the conventions of modern warfare? I think so, but they also understand their enemy's chicken shit tactics better than any of us can ever hope to.

Before you freak out, I am agnostic and do not subscribe to any religious notions. All I know is that this particular conflict predates WWI and to try and paint the Israelites as a bunch of claim jumpers from Europe is absurd.

Palestinians aren't fighting for their home as well?
Have you not been paying attention to the prison camp the Israelis are operating in Gaza?
These people are trapped in a cage with no hope of escape, there is no airport, no land crossings out and no sea port not controlled by the Israelis.
(Even if they do escape the can get no passport as they are stateless....)

No food gets in, no medical supplies and no construction materials without their say so.

They control the amount of food Palestinians are allowed by the calorie per person...
Isreal has a right to exist and the right to defend themselves but they are creating this mess and then cry foul when the Palestinians, whose backs are against the wall, fire shitty little rockets they manage to smuggle in and suicide bomb wherever they can.

It's insane

But, the Bible!

(This has never been the basis of a good argument for any debatable subject.)

Religion in this case is a cop out,

It's not muslim fundamentalism that's the cause, it's about land, power and wealth, who has it, and who's left with nothing.

Israel will not have peace like this

No kidding. If you're going to advocate bullshit, make it interesting. At least L. Ron Hubbard's fairy tale is entertaining.

Long live the noodly appendage of the Spaghetti Monster. Ramen.

Israel is doing exactly what a conquering power should do. With extreme prejudice.

Our British and French forefathers in this country should have done the same.

I wish my forefathers did the same with the pilgrims.

So do I.

The ensuing bloodbath of gun powder vs the stone age would have solved many of todays problems.

Israel has never had the option of peace.

Is it so wrong to blame "muslim fundamentalism"?

Yeah those 20 pound matchlock muskets that didn't work and were so shitty that even crossbows and winter could have wiped out all those foreign euro wetbacks...in any case the natives did the regrettably helpful thing and gave the pilgrims food, taught them to hunt and survive the deadly eastern winters.

anyways..
