Moving Forward with CC

Hey everyone,

Just an update on what's been happening.

The server is fully switched to the new host, unfortunately despite my best efforts to restore the database, some topics and post became corrupted and it's looking like restoring them will not be possible. For this I am really sorry...there were 28 years of posts in this forum so losing a big chunk of them is really unfortunate.

That said, at this time, with the playoffs about to begin, I am going to stop working on the server. The last thing I want to do is break the place more right as the playoffs are about to begin.

This move was made to control costs, paying 800.00 US a year was a waste of money and quite frankly a rip off.

This off-season, I will assess things again and consult all of you. I am considering wiping the boards and starting from scratch. But I won't do that without your input. In the meantime, let's enjoy playoff hockey for the first time in awhile, and hope the Canucks can delay my work here for another 16 games.
