Gotta say, I'm pretty excited about talking and reading about hockey here.

Great to see so many knowledgeable posters here.

Judging by some of the posts I've seen from ol' timers, the refugees and resident CC'ers, we're in for some great insight and debates.

Well another refugee has found a new CC . After reading thru this site and reading what has been said, I don't think anything else needs to be added from me. Since everything is gone from the old place I thought I would leave it all back there and just start new . Thanks for the warm welcome everyone , this will be fun.

It seems like I've been wandering in the wilderness for weeks since Canucks Central shut down.

Glad to see so many good posters have found their way over here.

I didn't post much at CC but I spent a lot of time lurking.

Hi all I'm sorta from Central as well, but I had given up posting there. I really feel for Chris and I feel that some members (under 10%) really ruined a good forum. I hope that this forum is truly moderated and not in name only. Okay enough with the rant. I'm very happy to be here and it's good to see some familiar names.

While going through this thread, it's good to see everyone made it over ok.

Sigh. End of an era and start of a new one.

So the real question is, now that the entire CC DB is wiped, how will THINKER pat himself on the back anymore by quoting old posts?

I have posted on CanucksCentral for years (at least 9) and I never had any problems with Chris.

That said, in the last 2 days browsing around this site, I already like the vibe here better.

I'm actually surprised I had never heard of this site before Central shut down.

We have a guy here from Sweden as well, Bret H. He will give us some insights on the prospects out there, but not an in-depth look at the SEL like Per did.

Hopefully, the thread can be named after somewhere in Alberta, instead of a place in B.C.
