I'll be surprised if Edler gets a suspension. He has no history of being a dirty player and I don't think he hung the leg because he was going to miss on the hit, it looked more like he just squared up and tried to make himself as wide and solid as possible expecting Hyman to try and squeeze by him on the boards. However, Hyman committed to trying to go inside towards the heavier traffic.....accidental knee on knee.....intentional contact though?

Can he go double or nothing on that deal? Seems only fair considering the line up and the context. Speaking of Micky, Did you see how grey and pale Horvat looks?
I’m guessing you’ll take the win even if it means micks record is officially 3 for three
:eh:

UMMMM no UK, Micky is still 0-3, he didn't accept my generous offer to be the GDT OP.
Whoops my bad, I thought he did the GDT OP, oh well woulda been funny.

Anyway they got one on adrenaline, guts and determination. I’m not gonna say with help from Holtby. I hate when “they” say they wouldn’t have won with out their goalie. That’s kinda the point of having a goalie on the team.

Post game; Horvat and Holtby...8:29 min.
Bo Horvat: Just speaking personally, as the game went on I felt better. As soon as we got ours legs under us, we started to get more comfortable with the puck and started making plays
Under the circumstances and what we went through, it gives our group a lot of confidence. I think we needed something like this to drive us here for this schedule coming up because it's not going to be easy.
"Those ones are fun to make sometimes" says Braden Holtby of his windmill pad save in the third period.
--Braden Holtby on the last few weeks: Not that fun. Some tough days. My wife is still dealing with it. You wouldn't wish it on anyone.
Post game Hughes..4:29 min.
Quinn Hughes: I don't know where that comes from. People on Twitter can say whatever they want, and it blew up. I wasn't on an IV.
Post game Green..8:48 min.
Travis Green: You hope that (tonight's win) would give them some belief, but I believe that our group has that belief already.
Early in the game, you could see guys were taking some short shifts just to get themselves into the game. We kind of hung tough. We held the middle of the rink when we had to.
I was happy for Holts tonight. He's such a good person. He has had a bit of a rough year this year, probably not the year that he's wanted, but we've tried to stand by him and believe in him, and we do.
-- Travis Green on Bo Horvat: He was phenomenal. What are you going to say? Two goals and an assist. You want players to step to the plate, and when your captain is at the front of the line leading the way, there's a reason he's wearing the C on his jersey.
-- Travis Green on Edler's hit on Hyman: For me, those plays happen. You don't like to see them. Eddy's a hard player, but he's not a dirty player. He doesn't try to hurt guys ever.
--Travis Green says Newell Brown's absence from the Canucks bench was COVID related.-
Post game Hoglander..2:49 min.
Had not been on the ice in two weeks. Got in two practices and felt good. Was good to get the pass up to bo so he could score the goal. It was really big for us. I didn't have any symptoms when I test positive so I was fine.
Brendan Batchelor & Mike quotes.
