Great, let's fill the front office and coaching staff with all ex-Canucks.

I hear Jim Sandlak is tired of being a butcher and looking to manage an NHL team.

Just sounded like another HF Board thread. Ho Hum.

It's a shame about all the staff jobs lost. Would that have a different incantation if the Canucks had got to the finals last year and made the show this?

Is that where we are headed now?

The media in this town are the biggest bunch of pussies I’ve ever seen.

Bring back some guys with actual balls to ask some questions of this freak show of a management/ownership crew.

Neil Macrae, David Pratt, Tony Gallagher, JP McConnell, John Mckeachie, Kent Gilchrist would have put the boots to these clowns up and down.

sportsnet absolutely sucks shit at covering the NHL. Bring back Don Cherry. I heard part of his podcast, I was attracted to the headline he didn’t think the leaves would win shit this year

See what happens when he isn’t muzzled ? He speaks truth to power

leaves suck

Matt Sekeres is up to his usual antics, stoking the Courtnall fires

If Courtnall is hired to run the team, jeezus fuck, the Aqualini’s really are the worst owners in the NHL
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Somewhat out of touch with the current NHL. Walking a similar path to 2014? Nah; Must be about a restaurant or a golf course.

Or maybe the new Abbotsford franchise? ;)

I’m beginning to think they are the worst owners in the league

Why did linden walk on the team he has tattooed on his ass? He didn’t like the GM or the owners or both?

Perhaps because Francesco is a stupid cunt with too much money to go the fuck away and let the team do it’s thing

Guess it all depends on what's real and true or just hearsay rumors. This doesn't ring a bell with me bt I did fall off a roof once.
Patrick Johnston @risingaction

Friedge reporting it was Geoff Courtnall that conducted the 2019 review. There was thought to make him a third voice in management at the time.

My understanding is there was pushback from Benning and Weisbrod after the 2019 review. ...link

Same but anyone they replace him with will be xerious step back in drafting unless they luck into one of the top contender builders...which are all employed right now. I was thinking Jimmy Rutherford but he proba ly doesnt want to come be a yes man

This is interesting, who in your mind are the top contender builders and what do they do that none of the others can pull out of their ass but once a decade?

I don’t want to give up on the drafting that Benning brings, but I agree that it sure feels like something is brewing.

If they punt Benning I defo do not want a retread. I want a proven winner.
