Kesler and Hamhuis hips in 2011 being the worst culprits relative to ultimate cost.
Ah gotcha!

And I’m sure there’s more.

Great post Cornuck. This has the feeling of excitement mixed with a foreshadowing of disaster- well not total disaster just a 15th pick in each round.

Based on goal differential LA and DAL should get the boot and LV and VAN should be in.

Really shows have a few extra goals and points early this season would’ve made all the difference. Win a few more in OT or shootout…

Wanna head down that road we have a laundry list:

Holdens wrist
Peteys wrist
Brock’s back
Hamhuis ribs
Raymond’s back
Bures knee
Bourdon.

Those come to mind immediately.
Naslund's shoulder head

Nashville is 7 points up but apart from one game against Arizona, they have a really tough schedule.

They just lost to the Blues, and have yet to play:

Flames
Lightning
Wild
Flames
Avs
Coyotes

Better chance to catch them than the Kings.

Daniel's brain

(Yes, he came back ok -- ultimately -- but the injury impaired the Canucks' playoff run)

And I think it was Naslund's elbow...

Today:

Preds vs Lames 5pm (5pts back equal games,)
Kings vs Ducks 7pm (4 pts back, 1 game in hand)

... and if course we play the Sens at 7pm.

Preds have a tough schedule. Look for the gap to close.

.....and tomorrow Stars/Oil & Caps/Vegas.

Potential for standings to look a whole lot tighter by Thursday morning.

Such a bg game tonight.

I understand Halak starts.

So...the Canucks now control their own destiny. Absolutely incredible demonstration of will, determination and a never surrender attitude by this young group.

I have to say it one more time for Blobert angrily lurking in the back...

Had the group tuned out their previous coach or were they playing the games as their coach dictated?

Bruce noted early in his tenure that the only this he had done was loosen the reins on the offence. One thing I have noticed is the team plays more from the wing and down low where as under Green it was blast from the point and and look for rebounds and or tips. He's allowing the forwards to be more creative and it is in turn challenging the opposition defence more.

It strikes me a a more mature and experienced coach putting more faith in his players. We haven't seen Bruce's doghouse the way we saw Green's doghouse.
