What was gaudetts issues?
Caught up in numbers and development curve. Not good enough offensively to find a spot in the upper 1/2 of the lineup but not good enough defensively to hold down a spot in the lower half.
For a guy on a one year "show me" deal, he didn't and given the flat cap, his salary may best be spent elsewhere.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Yup. He is someone else’s problem to resign as a RFA
The 'Chain of Command' is the chain I am going to beat you with until you understand I am in charge.

He’s MAGA. An anti masker, a Trumpist, a Republican but he could be a Heathen
So he had a brain just not on the ice
Did you know that they are projecting the whites will become a minority by 2045 in the U.S.A.?
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

He sucked?
Id say its hockey sense. Just doesnt see the ice very well
Completely disagree. Few on the Canucks are as good at finding the soft spots in the o-zone. He plays like a goal scorer but had trouble finishing plays.
His d-zone play wasn’t anything impressive, the attempted conversion to wing didn’t yield better results. His skating is ultimately not a strength, and I while he’s a hell of a 5th rounder, I think we saw why he was a 5th rounder.
For me Gaud didn't win enough board battles. Never seemed to come away with the puck. Either he wasn't big enough or he didn't know how to use his size, probably the latter.

At 6'1" and 170 lbs he wasn't gifted with very much size to use. I'd say the problem was a combination of a lack of strength and a lack of determination. Highmore at least doesn't seem to suffer from this problem.

Wonder if Travis Green/Baumer will not even play OJ again even with Benn traded, and they put in Bowey, get the preferred lefty-righty duos.
Hughes-Hamonic
Schmidt-Myers
Edler-Bowey
I'd be shocked if that occurred. With the way the rest of the schedule is shaping up and the potential for injuries I think they'll both get plenty of opportunity to play.
