Jimmy was pretty impressed by the sight of the 'C' elevator when he drove out to meet Kole and his folks. Drafting Kole was a foregone conclusion.

I was in Oakalla with some Clark Park guys. They sure can play hand ball. I remember Shaker Baker, the warden of West Wing. Anyone else here recall the name? He was called Shaker due to his coming into a cell and shaking it up while looking for contraband. Not all of the hacks were bad but there was one named Goldman who would wack you with his baton if your shirt was untucked. What a fuck head.

Thanks. I don't know how I missed this the first time but that was a great listen. They certainly owned to handball court and of course I was aware of them through my two brothers younger than me. Fill me in if you want. We lived near Victoria and Powell and my 'business' at the time was through others. I spent most of my childhood at my Grandmother who was caretaker for Mackenzie Barge and Derrick which was at the foot of Victoria Drive. I used to go place bets for her at the Princeton on the nags at X park. Back then I could roam all over the waterfront. Now I cannot even go down there without breaking the law. How times have changed. The Princeton used to have a Ladies and Escorts entrance and right beside it was [MOD EDIT] where I bought Mission Orange soda and played his baseball machine.
