Re: 2021 Draft Class

I was saying it at the draft and prior to, the Kings are in tough at 2nd because there is a real beaut sitting there in Stutzle. Tough choice, but IMO they made the ill-fated safe pick and should have took notice with Byfields horrendous history at international level play

Re: 2022 Draft Class

Doyle what happened to that bum Ryan Johansen? Super nice kid. My buddy’s son is good friends with him. He’s just too nice and soft though. He doesn’t have the cajones or the edge needed to be a top player. I’m surprised his brother Lucas hasn’t made it yet but he has been absolutely riddled with i...

Re: 2021 Draft Class

We are very thin at forward when it comes to skill, UDL. It’s actually dreadful once you get past Pettersson, Boeser, Horvat, Miller and Hoglander to an extent. Yes Podkolzin will help but we need at least 2 more very skilled forwards. Any time a team drafts for their current roster weakness it bac...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

I see Lafrenierre is starting to pick up some steam, it seems like Ole Chefs tough love is paying dividends Where did this Devon Toews come from, how come Doc didn’t put us into this Abbotsford native? Hargraves suggested acquiring him in the past knowing the Islanders had to make a move. Irrelevan...

Re: Canucks Young Guns

Myers is fine. He has the same amount of points this season as $6.75 million Patrick Laine.

Re: 2021 Draft Class

If hes available the youngest Hughes brother works for me as well. A bigger version of Quinn with a better shot and likely sitting right where we will be drafting? Mmmmmokay then https://thehockeywriters.com/luke-hughes-2021-nhl-draft-prospect-profile/ We don’t need another lefty D-man. But I they ...

Re: Canucks Young Guns

Hey Doylidge, the Wrath has been quite impressive. He’s a lot more impressive than Olaf. The kid can skate miles out there and he has some sick edge work happening. The D is in good shape moving forward. The Hambone is looking like the “stud” of old to the point he’s a must sign. Did you see Woo’s ...

There is definitely lots to be concerned about with Turcotte and Byfield, such highly touted prospects along with Kenny Holland’s - Zadina and Broberg

Re: 2021 Draft Class

The Canucks are averaging out with about 5-6 games in hand with the teams just ahead of them. It’s safe to say we will be picking top this year. With our 2-8 record over the last 10 I don’t think we are catching teams who are 6 points ahead of us, we would have to go .500 with them playing at .500, ...
