Re: Canucks Young Guns

Wouldn’t mind the Canucks chasing their own Jr. if with the Minnesota draft pick. Malhotra Jr. might be available around that pick. He can play for his Dad! Maybe in Abby, but hopefully in Vancouver. No thanks, he’s a replica of his Dad, two way centre and boring. We have Raty. Lawrence is super dyn ...

Re: Hughes Traded Thread

If the Canucks stay in the top 5 of the draft and decide to go on RS D-man Verhoeff this makes Hronek a trade option at the draft. Talk about using other posters lines. Sheesh. Dude responds to my post THIS AM about Verhoeff, Hronek, Chytil and Cootes saying Cootes stays in junior (in HIS humble ...

Right wing is thin so Garland stays, for now. The centres stay. Walk Chytil to UFA after next ...

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

He really shouldn't return a first unless someone is overpaying. His scoring heater was a once or twice in a career lucky fuck event That’s apparently what some teams have offered but the Canucks wanted a player on top of that. They may relax their demands now on Sherwood now that the Hughes trade s ...

Re: The Petey Predicament

Well we now have a vested interest in seeing the Wild fail miserably so...fuck you Quit Hughes It will be interesting where he signs. The Wild are taking a gamble but with Guerin as the Chief of America’s International Men’s Hockey Team and program teammates - Boldy and Faber, they may be able to co ...

Re: The Petey Predicament

Hughes presence was a problem. The team had to get rid of all it’s toxicity and Hughes presence was apart of it being he wasn’t invested spiritually/emotionally. So I only have this to say to Quinn “fuck off, the feeling is mutual”.

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

Get ready for some Beagle-level contracts for vets over the next few years to shepherd the young guns. There’s no need for that. They may very well only move on from Sherwood and call it a day, they’ve got some good quality vets here to mentor the next wave. Would be nice to get another 1st round pi ...

Re: Re-booted SKYO approved pipe dreams and trade ideas

I don’t think Sherwood re-ups here. He’s heading for UFA to get the bidding war going. It’s a thin UFA crop this year that is surely to benefit him. Hes an Ohio boy so probably wants to go Eastern America. He’s also probably worried about his stock price being on a team in last place overall with no ...

Re: Hughes Traded Thread

You need to keep some vets around for this youth movement rebuild we just started otherwise it will end up a true gong show. I’d keep - Pettersson, Boeser, Hronek, Debrusk, Hoglander who is close to being a vet. I’m on the fence with Garland and M. Pettersson. You keep Myers until he times out, he’s ...

I didn't say "old", I said too old to expect much further development.
He just put two back to back 20 goal seasons, trending up each year. Is that not good or something?
