Another one bites the dust

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Busted! If we're confessing our sins, then I have to be honest and say RM was also the first Bond I watched. It had Jaws in the movie. I also identified with RM as Bond. So, I'm busted too

But after that, I read the original novels and watched the SC movies. He was much closer to Fleming's character. That's when I turned on RM. He seemed too soft, too effeminate and too 70s disco. Looking back, RM definitely had cooler gadgets (c'mon, Lotus Esprit submarine) and better quips. The ladies were just as gorgeous with equally ridiculous names.

Loved those misogynistic, sexist Bond movies! :D

Connery, Moore, Craig, then the rest.

Did anyone not watch Bond movies for the sexy Bond girls and their double-entendre names?

What is wrong with you, Brownie? Were you one of them.... sissy boys?

Damn right I'm a proud pushy aficionado.

No worries. But you had me questioning my vast amount of useless pop culture knowledge. ;)

From Russia With Love

Bond: You're one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen.
Tatiana Romanova: Thank you, but I think my mouth is too big.
Bond: No, it's the right size... for me, that is.

A Vancouver favorite if you are a Whitecaps fan.

I attended one of his camps 30 years ago, earlier this year (pre covid) I saw him with a couple other Whitecap alumni walking down the street. I should have stopped him to say hi.
