The Canucks are on a bit of a roll now and have absolutely steamrolled the opposition in the last three games. But they blow into the windy city with revenge on their minds. The 'hawks have won three in a row too, and 4 out of 5.
It should be an interesting game. Entertaining ? Who knows, sometimes these games billed as the "game of the year" (thus far) are a bit of a snoozefest so we will see.

I'll take a page out of the book of Farhan. Tonight I want blood. After being humiliated at home like they were 2 weeks ago, the Canucks better be fired up to go and ready to do the same tonight.
GO CANUCKS GO!!!!!

We will win tonight 4-1.
We have the power of the Dork GDT behind us - we can't fail.
It should be a fun game, but I'm going to Lincoln tonight to see the USHL Stars take on the USNTDP team.

I will be on my couch, which I haven't been doing much these days due to work reasons so this is a treat tonight.
Will be hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. I contributed to a local paper today as to why I think Cory Schneider should be starting, but I highly doubt we will see that. Luongo is determined to exorcise his demons with the Hawks.
3-2 Canucks

I was thinking about that today too. AV has to give Luongo the opportunity to beat the Hawks. He's got to get them out of his head or else we'll never get past them in the playoffs. Let's hope that tonight's the night we get over the hump.LotusBlossom wrote: I contributed to a local paper today as to why I think Cory Schneider should be starting, but I highly doubt we will see that. That being said, it is almost time for Schneider to get a start. Maybe Sunday against St. Louis.

I'm really hoping the Canucks can get over this mental retardation they've got with the hawks. Time to put the boots to them and take that confidence with you the rest of the way. Nothing short of a great effort (the score at the end doesn't count) will do it for me.

Luongo with a MASTERPIECE! just incredible goaltending! and a great 5 on 3 kill too, just a good effort. Would like to see more shots but meh, why complain about a 3-0 revenge game?

What a great hockey game!!
I just loved the way we played.. pro-active all game... chased instead of waiting for the play... sweet stuff.
They absolutely passed the mental game, and showed no fear all night long. Looo was awesome probably as good a game as he's playes the last two years.
Me is happy.

Wow...he can play goal. It's been a long time since I seen him play that good. Going into the 3rd I knew he wouldn't let any in, what a wonderful feeling.

Even though it was 3-0, Luongo stole that one. Completely brilliant goaltending. And multiple saves he had no business making.

Great game by Lou, this could be a instant confidence booster in a positive way. There was a big hang over with this team verses the Hawks and maybe they now believe they are a Stanley Cup contender?

You guys are hilarious.
Props to Lou on a great game, but just complete laughter toward the diva reactions we get around here. A couple of losses - oblivion... a big win - euphoria.
