I have a question tech people about an unlocked BlackBerry that I have.
It's T-Mobile in the US, since they are my carrier in the US. I got it unlocked so I could used it here in Vancouver and mostly when I head to Europe for work. Thing is I have two accounts in Canada, a Telus one and a Fido one. It works with my Fido # but it doesn't work my Telus # so I am using my old phone for that account.
Why doesn't it work with Telus but it does with Fido? I thought unlocked meant it could be used to any carrier.

Two years later... lol
What matters is what technology/frequency the phones uses.
Telus is CDMA/HSPA and Rogers/Fido GSM/HSPA.
Additionally for BB's there are so many phones that are built for certain frequencies only.
