I'm just glad I had good wine to drink in the BBC at Rogers Arena last night to deal with the painfully awful game I saw on the ice. I think I did a good bottle and then went to meet up with more Canucks fans at the Forum and drown our sorrows even more.

I felt bad for the fan that flew here from San Fran, hopefully tonight, the boys can make his trip to snowy Vancity worth while.

Anyone else annoyed by the complacency, the "this is gonna be one of those games"/"let's move on to the next game" attitude, the Canucks showed ALL game? Like an inability to ratchet up their game when it called for it. There weren't even stretches when the team played well. AV looked emotionless on TV and here I was, expecting one of the more demanding coaches in the league to give his team a real verbal tongue lashing on the bench.

Alain Vigneault barely calls a time-out when his team badly needs it. It was only just recently the started practicing shootouts with the conjoling of Roland Melanson. That was just the worst effort I've seen from the team from the bench boss and down all season long.
