GDT: Canucks host New Jersey - 7pm - Snet

Ok, pre season is over and after a long break, we can see what this team can do. Actually, we see if the 1 game in 10 days gave us a chance to re-group and sort some things out.

Injury report: Hamhuis, Ballard, Bolduc, Rypien, Burrows and Bolduc - and of course, Salo. The Devils have a handful of players out as well, including Parise.

The Devils are struggling at the start of the season, averaging about a goal a game less than us, while letting in an extra goal a game. This will also be the only game against NJ this year.

We'll be seeing the how Luongo matches up against the greatest goalie of all time (the Canucks have 6 of the 7 last meetings against NJ and are 52-31-17 all time). This will also be a chance to see what all the about Kovolchuk was.

The whole business has gone to hell. First you've got a cable company doing what they do with an antena, and run signals to your home via cable, fine. Now they own all of tv, and screw us.

Was at the game and it was fairly uneventful. A few observations

1) Henrik was pinned down to the ice w/o the puck-- no call for interference
2) Luongo gets 3/5 Jersey players to finally get goalie interference called
3) Crowd was quiet, game was rather boring.
4) Canucks got outshot again in the 3rd period--- needs to stop
5) Lu was excellent, but it is November.
