Salo has 'a ruptured testicle'?

Uh.....ouch?

Back in the '80's, Seattle Seahawk Paul Moyer went to the bench, injured. He missed one play and came back out. After the game he had to go to the hospital to have a crushed testicle removed. :shock:

Yeah, it's very clear he's injured significantly. :(
Are you saying he played good?

No, he just looks like a guy who's really struggling with whatever is killing him.

Sid, honest I'm not sure what it would be but he's not skating or can't hit too well either. I have no idea what it could be but no one I"m sure will know till after it's all over.

Salo = bummer. :shock:

Unfathomable. This is to a guy whose injury list already reads like a running joke with a couple choice bits like "bit by a poisonous snake."

In all seriousness, because while it is tough to be when you hear rupture next to testicle, that could be a very unfortunate thing if it's at all like it sounds, so hopefully it's just not at all like it sounds.

Glad that Demitra is in.. hopefully the other multimillion dollar players earn their paycheck too.. No more dumb offensive zone penalties for the Sedins. Luongo stops the puck and holds on to it.. Kesler has a break through game.. Bieksa quits looking like a beer league dman.. Ok.. I'll settle for just reasonable play from all of the above..and we will get a win.. !

OK... I got most of my wishes. Bieksa goes from bum to hero . Luongo looked like an Allstar . Sedins only take the one " brotherly love " offensive zone penalty.. SOB is a warrior !! Sami's bad luck holds..None of the Canucks took a day off... Kesler didn't have a break through game.. but on the other hand none of the forwards scored a goal except for Burrows empty netter.. I don't buy the "Keslers playing injured " rumor on this board.. he has got 9 points in 10 games and played more minutes a game than any of the other forwards in the playoffs.. With his line changing game to game I think he is playing a solid game. Sure it would be better if he was scoring goals but he is still doing a good job setting up goals for his linemates .

Cant wait to see if this team will show up again for game 6... :)

But then if he's not playing hurt what's the alternative? I sure wouldn't want to think he's healthy and playing at 50% in the biggest game of the year. Points mean nothing, I've never judged a players effort level on wether the puck goes in the net for him or not I just watch what he does on the ice; and last night Kesler was a drifter.

When Kesler had that near-breakaway opportunity, he looked decidedly slow. He was either dead-tired at the end of the shift, or he's not skating at 100% (or even 80%). On that play, the normal Kesler would have taken off like he was shot out of a gun.
