60 minutes. I love it.
Impressive that they played the same in the third as the rest of the game. Just keep doing what got you there and don't lay back. Be aggressive.
Listening Wally???????????

Still being screwed by refs, still finding ways to win. Henrik with 8 goals, on pace for 40, imagine.
No SOB, no stupid penalty, easy win.
You guys were waiting for it, weren't you.

Maybe the blessing in disguise from Daniel's injury is that his brother will get more confidence shoot and we could have two scoring Sedins.

Here's a stat for you.
Hordichuk now has a 50% shooting percentage.

The way Raycroft is playing, we really can tell Luongo to rest up to 100% before coming back, and heck, the coaching staff would surely trust Raycroft with a start here and there now. More good news IMO.

Raycroft played well. One goal was off a questionable rebound but he made some very good stops that easily could have been goals. Raycroft also completely outplayed Backstrom who was HORRIBLE. Backstrom usually plays well against the Canucks, but not tonight.Jelly wrote:The way Raycroft is playing, we really can tell Luongo to rest up to 100% before coming back, and heck, the coaching staff would surely trust Raycroft with a start here and there now. A very good win.
Re: GDT: Canucks @ Wild 5pm CityTV
Backstrom isn't helping himself at all here, he should've had all four goals.

We certainly deserved that one... Backstrom helped us out but we certainly gave him more than enough opportunities to bunk it up.
No Luongo, No bad Goal, Easy win. Sounds as about ridiculous as your comment.
Rome = really bunked up the coverage on Brodziak's first goal. Even SOB could've had that one
LOL to you Jelly. Keep this up all year please.Jelly wrote: No SOB, no stupid penalty, easy win.

I gotta give credit where Credit is due... As most of you already know i am not a fan of AV.. But Since the injury's have hit he has tryed some different things. Like playing a d_men on the wing to have 3 dmen against the other teams best line or player.. And then tonight when Min had the Nucks hem in and Willie had to shoot the puck down the ice... AV knew his players were beat and called a time out.. It was a good call.
Re: GDT: Canucks @ Wild 5pm CityTV
why the AV hate? The only coach out there avalible that i would want other than Vigneault would be Laviolette but for some reason i think he is east coast for life...
Great game tonight, all heart
Will be a big game tomorrow night, the stars looked very very good against the Flames the other night and were possibly robbed on a blown call in overtime. Also will Raycroft start again or with the back to back with AV change it up and put in Schnieder?

You just have to love this team. They've had every excuse to call it in, but they have responded to injuries like nobody expected. I think it says a lot to what Gillis has been preaching about character and heart - depth.
With all these players out for the past while, we are still only 4 points out from first overall.

To be fair though, alot of those games were poor performances against poor opposition. The last two however have been different, and are certainly something to be proud of.Cornuck wrote: They've had every excuse to call it in, but they have responded to injuries like nobody expected.

If there's one thing we know as Canucks fans... it's take your wins however you can get them! Your not going to get so many "strong" games when you're dressing two fourth lines and a defenseman on your top line...Robert wrote:To be fair though, alot of those games were poor performances against poor opposition.
