The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

Be forewarned though - hardcore X-Men fans might be disappointed. I liked X-Men growing up but wasn't a hardcore fan.
Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers on the other hand........
I watched the cartoon. I never read the comic books.
I've always liked Wolverine. I liked the movie. I went into it with no big 'deep meaningful answer to the Xmen'. I just went into it for some eye candy, some action and I got a whole lot of that.

Wolverine
Star Trek
Harry Potter
Angels & Demons
Terminator G.I. Joe
Transformers
maybe even Bruno, the preview was hilarious.
Edit:
maybe Inglorious Bastards and Public Enemies too. I love movies. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/guides/summer_movies/ I find this site to be fantastic in terms of whether a movie is worth watching or not. The grades are usually pretty accurate to how I rate a movie, so if they get a bad rating on here, I don't bother watching anymore.
I almost forgot about G.I. Joe. Even though I wasn't really a fan of the cartoon, when I was younger, all the trailers for the movie look pretty cool.
I know RT isn't always right, but it generally has the same marks I would give to a movie. I usually only watch the blockbusters anyways. I'm not for watching the creative movie, although the old classics are great to watch. Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, Citizen Kane - all unreal.

I like that site for internet reviews. I am into creative independent movies that don't make money...and I am planning to do Sundance next year and I will probably hit up the Toronto Film Fest this year as well. But I'll go and spend the cash on a block buster, just to say I've seen it and can comment on it.
I like westerns, so watching some of the old stuff is great. BUTT...Casablanca...still to this day...amazing.

Save your $$ for another summer movie. Terminator Salvation was OK...if you want to see it in a theatre, I suggest you wait for it in a second run theatre.
Bale's outbursts were more entertaining than the movie.

Agreed on this one - about what I was expecting: explosions, (too) fast action, little plot, Astronomical odds in favor of the heroes. Still, an entertaining film for the CG fans.
I enjoyed Transformers because initially I just thought it was awful but gradually I began to understand I was watching one of the worst (best) "it's so bad it's funny" movies I've seen in a long time. Cult classic for drunken movie nights for years to come in that regard.
i dont have a clue what eveyone is talking about, i thought transformers was awesome. sure the story was weak in a couple spots but great action, great visuals, i was thoroughly entertained for 98% of it. i dont get why everyone said it sucked, plus almost 700mil$ world wide cant all be wrong right?
