Dust off the towels and let's get ready for the playoffs. Hopefully my vintage Linden jersey is in by Wednesday.

Grats to nucks on division title - that was one comeback on the Flames. In one sense would have rather played the Hawks, but who knows - there may still be room for that ;-) Time to see how this team performs in the first round - good luck boys - this is the first time in a long time I have had some faith.

Wow.... probably one of the most boring games of the season... but at 0-0 we backed into the Division title and home ice advantage.. bonus was Sedin's fluke goal in OT to give Canucks 100 points.. thanks Edmonton and Kudo's to Luongo for 2 shutouts in a row. Playoff hockey next :).. got my Tiger Williams sweater out of the closet and am pumped !!!

I've been saying that a lot lately. The Canucks got the job done, but as far as aesthetic quality goes, it was like Phyllis Diller after a 4-day bender.

During his playing career, Phil Esposito was asked about the quality of the goals he scored, being he got alot of garbage goals which weren't pretty to look at. Phil said, "In the newspaper the next day, they all look like slapshots." The same here with this game and the LA game. Two wins to secure the NW Division title are two wins and despite the less than eye candy wins, they all count and the Canucks got the job done. On to the playoffs and home ice advantage in the first round.

Some of the posters on this board are advocating us getting hitched to Ms. Diller for quite some time...

hmmm last 2 games.. 1 - 0 against the 2 worst teams in the west.. winning the division because of Oilers beating a beat up Calgary team... a lot of luck for sure.. but it doesn't build a lot of confidence in me. Sure the D and Luongo played well. but the offence did nada... Hopefully the Offence shows up for the playoffs. Thank god it isn't Anaheim in round 1... I am hoping for the BJ's.. Blues are on a hot streak..

Then you shouldn't be so mad when we resign the players that make us successful.

When they have to mint another Conn Smythe trophy so that Daniel and Hendrik both get one this year for their exemplary roles in our 'success' let me know...

Honestly, I'm pretty positive right now. I think we totally have a shot at it, but that changes nothing.
