GDT: Canucks host the Bolts - 7pm - PPV

Post by Cornuck »

Now why would the team make this game a PPV? Is Tampa Bay such a huge draw that fans will be willing to shell out the money for questionable quality?

The Lightning are facing goaltending woes so we should be able to take this game just on netminding. Will we face Mike McKenna (4.71 GAA) or Karri Ramo (3.65 GAA)? Tampa has never won in Vancouver - let's keep it that way. They have a better PP, and that seems to be hurting us lately.

If the games is yawner, there are a few people to keep an eye on. Stamkos should be fun to watch. Also look for former Canucks Lukas Krajicek. Demitra and Hordichuk will play tonight. Look for a good game from O'Brien against his former team.

I'll be at this one. Lots of star power (no depth) and hopefully the Canucks can win big. I can't imagine them liking the shutout in the last outing.

4-2 Nucks. O'brien with his first. Sundin with an empty netter.

What a snoozefest. Time to start juggling lines if the team is deciding to mail it in.

Well he was on the ice, whether or not he actually woke up from his afternoon nap is another thing. Seriously, he was so good for a while and now he's crap again. At least he's not costing us games anymore...

Yeah - I heard his name once in the first, and then he must have gone back to sleep. Is he resting up for the playoffs maybe?

He did have the flu, and the flu that is going around is the kind that can linger for weeks. He had one good chance last night but other than that he was invisible.

I suppose it doesn't matter, they won anyway. In Montreal they lost but the effort was there, last night they looked tired (although the first 10 minutes they were good).
