Ok - we're hot - red hot, actually. But being Canucks fans, we're still unsure about our chances of making the playoffs. Tonight we face Montreal and we're pretty even in points (although we don't get to feast on the eastern cellar dwellers).
Will tonight be a battle between Price and Luongo? Or will we face the hotter Halak? Montreal is missing both Lang and Tanguay, so we should have a slight offensive advantage. Both teams are rested, and the team only had to travel from Toronto. Montreal (3-6-1 in their last 10) has a great home record, so we'll need a good game to take the 2 points and build up our buffer from 9th place. We're also looking at 5 in row for the first time in 2 years.

Wow - a crappy 5 on 3 followed by a goal the other way....

I didn't get to see the game, but from the highlights and stats it looks like we just ran out of some puck luck at the end of a roadtrip. I had the feeling this game wasn't going to go our way, the last game of a successful road trip against a team that has been struggling to break out of a slump. Hopefully TB provides us with some bounceback points tomorrow...

That was a very entertaining game, despite the score.

I don't mind losing when its because of unbeatable goal tending. Halak was unbelievable, the Canucks couldn't possibly play better. The 5-on-3 killed them, you have to score on those or they creat a bad omen for the outcome of the game.
Wellwood though, excuse my french, can f*ck off anytime now.

Wow 5 on 3 and not a shot on goal. Was not fun having Habs fan heckling me lol. It was a great experience though. Great crowd at the Bell Centre. Good fansCornuck wrote:Wow - a crappy 5 on 3 followed by a goal the other way....

Yeah I was at the game. Almost missed it because my flight from Toronto (at Pearson the shittiest airport in Canada) was delayed then canceled. So we were put on a flight that got me there at 7:09...and I missed half the first .Linden Is God wrote:Were you at the game??LotusBlossom wrote:Wow 5 on 3 and not a shot on goal.
