1994 Playoff Run Video

Post by BTR17 »

Does anyone have a copy still on VHS? Would love to give this as a gift to a new Canuck fan. I know there must be a few copies kicking around on VHS still. I lost mine in a move.

Any help would be ridiculously appreciated! Would be grateful to pay for a copy. Or perhaps someone has burned it to DVD?

Thanks again.

I'd love a copy on DVD myself.

There's no playoff run video or DVD that I know of, but the NHL recently released a DVD collection of the greatest game 7s of all-time. The Rangers-Canucks one is on there.

I remember that video, but it will be tough to find. However, if you do come across multiple copies, please make it known here. Love to see it again for old times sake.

This guy is selling all 1994 Canucks playoff games on DVD. I would love to own this, but $250 is a bit much for me. Anyone who buys this and shares it, I'll donate $20 to your paypal account (for sharing it via torrent or upload).

Wow, someone's going to get thumped w/ a fine. What are the odds those DVDs contain HNIC footage?

I had no idea there was an official video made. I've got some clips on VHS myself but they're packed away....I haven't had the heart to watch it since.

EDIT: Wow....watching the first few clips of the Calgary series....all these emotions came flooding back to me. THat must be what it feels like to be a widower and find a scrapbook of photos from all the good times together...
I still cannot believe we didn't win the Cup that year...that was the save...that was the goal...that was the year.

I think that video exists and I think I've got it. I really do. (Tom L. impression :-) I've also got a a few of those games recorded, at least four of the finals. I'll have to check when I get home I'm out of town now for a couple of weeks.

Oh, I've also got a lot of the 'nw post game with Dan Russel too.. (when he was good and I liked him), man there was some great stuff on those shows.. espeically when we were playing toronto. That would be cool to dig that up and put it on disk.

Found this:

I'd love to hear of anyone who's had success finding something that captures their entire run, as opposed to just the NY series... This link sounds promising?

Edit: Found these two on Youtube, about as close as I could come:
1994 Canucks Playoff Run
not as good, no sounds but man shows how tough the flames series was http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYzll5vhk8M

Well I did find most of the games with the Rangers. I also may have the last leaf game, but I can't find out for sure untill I get back to the vcr.

It would be great to put those on dvd.

I have many of the 1994 Canucks playoff games, which I’ve burned to DVD.
Some of them are a bit chewed up from when I had them on VHS.

Game 7 vs Calgary
Game 5 vs Dallas (deciding game)
All 5 Games vs the leaves
All 7 Games vs the Rangers

The biggest team in the league and they sure played like it. Sergio Momesso!

I’m looking for 2009 game one against St Louis.
