GDT: Canucks in Denver - 3/26 - 6PM - TSN, NHLTV, 1040

Post by Cornuck »

Hopefully last night will alert the boys the hockey games last 60 minutes.

The Avs have won the last 4 meetings, and are 5-5 in their last 10.

Let's make the 'game in hand' count tonight with a regulation win!

GO CANUCKS!!!

Game is on TSN tonight. Aside from that looks like the site that was feeding last nights game is down.

I'm in dire need of a win tonight. Last nights game really pissed me off. What scares me most is that if the Oil manage to win, and the Canucks lose, the Oile will only be 1 point back.

So far early it's a very poor start for the Canucks. This is good news!

As usual i'm in the same time zone and watching it right now. (pmed you...)

Damn 1:0 Avs, don't give up boys, maybe it's better not to watch this game....

As Robert said, maybe start slow and finish strong this time...

The Canucks play is making me queasy to this point. At least a handful of giveaways already in their own zone and we're not even at the halfway point of the 1st. Hopefully this power play turns their play around and if they don't score, they can at least pick up some momentum.

Of course Cowan loses another fight, but I always love it when the boys fight.

How awesome has the Pettinger pick up been?

A bad start, but the 'Nucks have turned it around since their first power play and goal.

What the Canucks must do at all costs is avoid taking the foot off the pedal, like they did last night. Just keep that sucker pressed down and don't play to preserve the win, but to build on it.

Hopefully the learned a hard lesson last night.

Not a huge surprise that Peter Forsberg manages to play a role on two of the Avalanche goals so far. He's always been a Canuck killer and he might as well continue the trend.

In other disparaging news, Brendan Morrison going down is certainly not good news. THe Canucks need all of their weapons... or as many as possible to be in the line-up and this could be a big loss for the team. Granted he's not the same, with his wrist still in recovery, but he still plays an important role.

Holy shit, stupid covering mistakes, bad luck and 2 damn pucks squeezing through Roberto's legs.....damn the devil is biting our asses again. Not to forget Mo's injury, shit shit shit.

A former goalie i played with used to say "a touch is a save" regardless of going in or not, bahhhh i hope this isn't our goalie's maxime right now....
