Bernier will win it by himself...he will make some bad defense.look good.....& the transition game will win over the trap....the Canadians will be awsome at the transition game...& then will be taught to trap in the NHL...enjoy some good hockey over the holidays....

I'm looking forward to seeing Schenn and Hickey, two big d-men hitting the small euro's. Most of Canada still doesn't know about Luke Schenn, they will after this tournament!

Esposito - anyone going to call him a bust yet? The kid's got tons to prove, but granted, he's got more talented than 2 Dan Cleary's combined.

And Tavares as the 13th forward, they shouldn't invited them as 16 year olds if they didn't have a chance of making the team. Tavares didn't make a impact in the summer super Series and isn't a impact here but did get two goals in the game verses the Czecks.

There is a lot to be said for the experience he'll gain being around the team and the tourny. Next year he'll make the team and the top line hands down. If he's been to the dance before he'll be that much better prepared to handle the pressure and perform on the ice. I like him being there even if he doesn't get much (or any) playing time.

Don't agree. Tavares doesn't deserve to be there.

He didn't look too out of place today with a goal and an assist. Granted it was against the Danes.

Really has nothing to do with it. He could score a hat trick every game, and he still wouldn't deserve to be there, any more than Lindros deserved to be part of that Canada Cup, or World Cup, or whatever it was.

SR....Tavares does't deserve to be there because of his age? Because he hasn't earned it? Canada seems to need his scoring.....I'm not a big fan of Tavares but he seems to be a goal scorer.....STAMKOS is a nice player....
I can't believe Mason is going to start against the US. I don't think Canada will advance unless they totally out hit the US.....

I was looking for a bit more but I know where you are coming from.
It is a 19 year old tourney.
He's a phenom from Ontario...he will get every opportunity..hell the leaves tried to exploit him by signing him to a minor contract.....
