I say it was crosby snubbing the prospects game because it was so completely out of the blue and there was so much hype surrounding it that it was a jerk thing to do, IMO that is

Seems that they are no big hockey stories this year
i've voted for Theo despite i respect the juniors success, but hey they are juniors.

yeah i left that one out for the simple reason that its gone past just being a story, i mean this is going to go down in history, this is a legend as such

I only see 2 real "hockey stories" on the list: Canada's WJ win and the Knights streak.
I voted for the Canada win as it was more far reaching, although the London streak is phenomonal in its own right.

There's a big difference in "biggest" and "best" or "important." Is there really a bigger story than the Bertuzzi incident??? Hell, it was bigger than the Danton story which you also forgot.
What a sad, sad year.
The year the NHL came apart at the seams...

IMO the two biggest was Canada winning the WJC and the Danton story?

No, he's referring to the article about Offthepost.net.

Mason ended the article saying, tongue-in-cheek, that given the backdrop, what happened might be the best hockey story all year.

Isn't it
To Jyrki21: Yours is really the best hockey story of the year. It would blow the poll if it would be contained.
