CFL vs. NFL
Moderator: Referees
I enjoy the NFL and the CFL as well. But I really don't want to see a cross league game.
The rules and style of play are so different that the almost qualify as different sports. They are hard to compare and to be honest I don't want to.
My Lions are the tops in the CFL and I'm happy with that.

Nice Link Grizz. I was trying to come up with a few examples other than the obvious downs, size of field and # of players but couldn't think of many that would make much difference.
Cookie...the big one is obviously the # of downs. It changes the stratagy 100%. The way teams use the run and attack down field are totally different in the two leagues making it very hard to compare them. They are very different games but both enjoyable in my books.

Yes and no.
Yes, because the idea of that intrigues the hell out of me.
No, because the Leo's would get SLAUGHTERED.
It would be like asking if you'd want to see Serena Williams play against some top 25 male tennis player in the world because Serena "dominates" women's tennis (well actually, she doesn't....but if she did...you get my point ).

No kidding, the only chance of the Leo's coming within 20points is if the Hawks had to play CFL rules.Farhan Lalji wrote:No, because the Leo's would get SLAUGHTERED.
Here's the facts, kiddies: Yankees used to play 3 down football. Back in 1886 or something, McGill kicked the piss out of Harvard 128-0. The next year, Yankee football went 4 downs. They couldn't figure out how to get 10 yards in only 3 downs.
Typical yankee: if you can't win, you change the rules.
