MAJOR SITE ANNOUNCEMENT

Ok, here's the deal. I have bought new hosting for the site, and over the next few days I will be moving the site to a new server. I have never undertaken this before, so I am not sure what the results will be or or what problems I will encounter.

The bottom line is, yesterday the site was down mostly all day and I can't have this keep happening. I have a friend who recently moved his site to this same host and it seems fast and reliable.

At the very least, I will have a clean install of a message board and a stable environment for you. There will be some hiccups, some posts may be lost during the lull between the transfer and the domain propagation, but in the end we'll have stable site. I am also going to be using a friend who's very talented in the web design field and we are going to come up with a new version of the site that will take this site to a new level. But that will be during the off-season.

By the middle of the week a the site should be on a new host.

I was going to donate a used pair of leather pants and an empty bottle of Crown Royal for auction but I don't know if there would be any takers. I'm still willing to donate a few bucks to help out if you need it. Just let me know.

The cost of the hosting is comparable to the previous host. I'm just taking a gamble that these guys know what their doing and that this host has slightly different rules for database queries.

As always your donations are appreciated but certainly not expected or required to keep the site alive at this point.

Of course those who do donate get MVP status as well.

Outside of the semen and urine stains which have been removed, the leather pants are in good condition. I tried selling them on Craigslist but no takers. 40+ waist size was not in demand I guess. Been on this LA Weight loss thing and dropped a few pounds so they are too big.

Here is an update.

I have a site on a different server.You are still currently on the old server. I am waiting for the domain to be transfered and the dns servers to be changed. Once that happens you will be taken to the new site. Currently, there are some issues that I hope are caused by the domain not pointing to the site yet. There will be some missing posts, but it should be a functioning board.

The blogs have all the information uploaded but I am having trouble getting into the admin area.

The history section the database is a little weird right now and again I am hoping that is because of the domain issue.

Other than that the site function fine. I will be working hard to fix the issues once the domain transfers over.

UPDATE: There is a good chance the domain will switch over tonight or tomorrow sometime.
