The poll question is a bit too black & white, but as it is worded, I voted yes.
The question of whether he is capable, ability-wise, of backing up Luongo for 10 or so game a year is not an issue IMO. His overall play this year as a rarely used backup has been very good.
However, the Canucks should only attempt to sign him if he is willing to make no more than 600K AND be honestly happy knowing his role is being a rarely used backup. If not, there are other options for a short term signing. Ideally, a 2 year contract that satisfies the above would be nice.
Should we resign Sabourin?

Agree with this. It would be great to have him back and keep some stability, but if he wants too much money it doesn't make sense. The biggest problem I see is opportunity - Sabourin knows if he stays in Vancouver he'll be lucky to play more than 10-15 games unless Luongo gets injured. With another team, even as a back-up, he could get 25-30 games, possibly an opportunity to fight for more ice-time, something which definetly won't happen in Vancouver. However, the Canucks should only attempt to sign him if he is willing to make no more than 600K AND be honestly happy knowing his role is being a rarely used backup. If not, there are other options for a short term signing. Ideally, a 2 year contract that satisfies the above would be nice.
