I picked he doesn’t want to be here. Just feel that he is not all into the game so far this season. Not to say it won’t change and he starts putting up the points and becomes the player we saw 2 seasons ago.
But right now he is playing like he wants to be anywhere else except in an orca jersey.
Are you to 3 fingers now? That’s some delusionalness.
Don’t you have some threads to Micky all over? Adults are talking here.

Threads to Micky all over? English!
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

His quickness has regressed and that can only be he let his off season training fall behind. Maybe all the duck faced photograms or whatever they are should be dropped and a more concerted effort placed into getting stronger/faster/better.
I predict he has a poor season but next year comes back ready to roll
Come on, I have him on my yahoo fantasy team.
He needs to bounce back fast!

....delusionalness.
Per?
Your thoughts?
Back in the day Björklöven had a coach, Hans ”Virus” Lindberg, who went ballistic on the refs in a game and got a three game suspension. Had to watch the games from the stands. The first game that he was back on the bench also had a few iffy calls and in the post game interview the reporter asked ”well, what did you think of the refs tonight?”
Virus paused briefly, then said ”you know, I prefer being on the bench with the guys, so I won’t tell you what I thought.”
I’ll just leave you with that.

Would have been my second choice. He may just be a shifty 50 point player who’s razor thin.
It’s up to him
His first two seasons he was a ppg player. Why would he suddenly devolve into a 50 point player?
No, there’s something wrong. Whether it is an injury, a mental issue or just that the injury from last season prevented a productive off season I don’t know. It could also just be a slump.
But there is no way you can convince me that a guy who started his career with consecutive 66 point season while misding 11 and 14 games respectively suddenly should have a cieling at 50. That’s ridiculous. The kid is just 22. He has barely started shaving. I expect him to have at least one 100 point season before hanging up his skates.

He was more concerned about his “brand” than playing hockey, now he’s realizing he fucked up last year not staying in game shape when injured.
Thanks for dialing it all in for us. I feel much better.
Listen to his sn650 interview he says the same thing. He wasn’t as focused on hockey as he should have been.

As a Canuck fan I've had enough with excuses being made for underperforming homegrown players we think are the real deal which are then buttoned up with the "next year" sentiments.
When Petey held out and made the comments regarding next contract and wanting to sign with a winning team, that was all I needed to hear. He wants to play for a winner, doesn't sound (or look) like he wants to be one of the pistons in the engine of that winner.
I wouldn't be surprised if negotiations were as prolonged as they were because he doesn't want to be here.
I like that Corn included the option regarding Green. Petey's style does not mesh with Green's rope-a-dope system and I wonder if, during exit interviews, Petey stayed mum and was not one of the players who spoke up in defense of the coach(es).

It was a huge mistake by the kid and I bet a dollar that if he had a second go around he would never have made those comments. It was unprofessional and really didn't ingratiate himself with the fanbase here.
That said, if his wrist was injured bad enough to miss that long last year, it must have affected his summer training and still be a factor. What doesn't make sense is his lack of stamina and strength in skating. That says something more
