to nobody's surprise, sidney crosby is the youngest player and is expected to make the team.

Canada, which lost 4-3 in the final to the U.S.at the 2004 tournament in Finland, is seeded second  in the 2005 tournament, which will be held in Grand Forks, N.D., and Thief River Falls, Minn.

Canada is in Pool B with Finland, Slovakia, Sweden and Germany. TheCzech Republic, Russia, Switzerland, Belarus and the top-seeded Americans are in Pool A.

After opening against the Slovaks,Canada will meet Sweden on Dec. 27, Germany on Dec. 28 and Finland on Dec. 30 with all games at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks.

The defending champion and host U.S.open against Russia on Dec. 25 in Grand Forks. The gold-medal game will be played on Jan. 4 in Grand Forks.

At least they have a relativley easier time, i mean they dont have to take on the russkies or the US so assuming they dont lose to a team such as germany we shoudl easily make the knockout round

I dont know if you can say that it will be their best team, for their weakest link seems to be in net, and thats the last place you want to be weak

I was surprised with a 6-0 score against a good Finish team. Glass didn't have to make any good saves that I remember, last I heard he had 6 shots?
