LOL i just saw a story done about Rory on the Score! theyre saying his ranked 5th in the voting among defensemen!!
They also showed someone in the locker room (didnt show his face) and he was wearing a "vote for pedro" shirt, with the perdro crossed off with Rory's name written underneath.... just hillarous

Look at the lead Luongo has wow..
This is perfect and sums up what the All Start game has become it is not a game that shows it stars of the year but a game of showing stars of the past, of fan favorites no matter how they are playing. They will change the rules after this. god I hope Fitz makes it I would love it. I dont think he will play but the point would be there.

wow. can't believe he's made it to top2.
the youtube ads must have pushed him over the top.
hopefully this causes the NHL to change their voting system
Maybe they'll call it "the Rory Rule", though Damphousse was just as bad.
what the hell, I'm off to vote again.

We got LUONGO!!!!!!!!!!
We got LUONGO!!!!!!!!!!
It is actually quite an interesting scenario from a PR point of view... I wonder if the NHL will try to go along with the fun and positively promote it or whether they will try and knock it out as joke and blackball it.Tukaram wrote:I wonder what reason they'll have to keep him from playing if he gets voted in?
Personally, I think it would be great if he got in. Lots of publicity for NHL hockey.
I bet there are alot of NHL topdogs now scratching their heads wondering what they should do ... how its handled could either make it a big disaster for the NHL or it could actually be turned into a brilliant marketing scheme ... it is certainly turning heads thats for sure.
