I also agree with Cornuck.
Actually, if you were pretty confident of winning (which i don't think the Canucks can be this year), I think a clown suit would make a great uniform, because it would be even more humiliating for the other team.
( "Ah man, we got beat by guys wearing clown suits !" )
And the word to describe Free Willy's action is "breaching". An animal giving birth would be a pretty out there logo. Maybe out there enough to be kind of cool....

I really like the Breeching whale logo, its modern and represents the area. I'm just not sure about the Maroon color for the trim ?? Dark Uniforms always make a team look bigger on the ice. Keep the retro Jerseys, but maybe only wear them when playing Canadian teams or in "rivalry" games. I hate the corporate greed that goes with changing jerseys every year. Look at the English premier league soccer teams.... You have to buy a new shirt every year to stay current as they change the title sponsor that gets plastered over the front of the shirt. Never want to see the "Skate" of the "V" ever again, even thought this was the era I fell in love the 'Nucks!

If they want to go retro, then they should go way back:
I really like the white "stick' jerseys, but don't care for the blue one as much (especially after last night's game).
I enjoyed the retro look the league had a few years back. Now, it's just marketing, and different variations of black for many teams. And I feel that it does represent Vancouver. It represents a great time in hockey history.

If you stare at it long enough, the "V" with the right end of the rink looks like a giant "VD". Then the stick through the "VD" looks like a penicillin needle.
