2006: The best year for movies of all-time? (ranks up there)

The primary goal of this site is to provide mature, meaningful discussion about the Vancouver Canucks. However, we all need a break some time so this forum is basically for anything off-topic, off the wall, or to just get something off your chest! This forum is named after poster Creeper, who passed away in July of 2011 and was a long time member of the Canucks message board community.

1999 was pretty good:

Fight Club, American Beauty, The Matrix, The Sixth Sense, The Green Mile, The Insider.

true, but when there's a trilogy, the second movie is never as good as the others, because it's got to set something up for the next movie. but it truly did suck.

For those wondering, Departed was AWESOME. Jack Nickelson is my favorite actor of all-time.

The Prestige was another terrific movie.

Last month or so, I claimed that Jackass II was the funniest movie of all-time.

Whelp - along came Borat!

Jackass II *and* Borat are the two funniest movies of all-time IMO. :D.

Borat almost made me poop my pants. Genius, pure genius. Best racist, sexist, gross-out movie in years!

Everyone has to see it...take your parents, take your kids, take the girlfriend.
