I like Podkozlin’s combination of grit, size, competitiveness and skill. Gets compared to Timo Meier. Its also good to hear he is a solid 200’ player. Great pick, we needed a winger in the top 6. This puts the needed pressure on Jake to step it up.

They say he could actually be here after next season, not sure how, since he’s signed for two in the K

If he can't get to N.A. sooner, It'll be difficult if not impossible for him to get time on NHL size ice, so;
That begs the question; Would there be anything stopping him from getting in some time with some other players on
small ice in the summer? Even if it is just f**king around.
Consider two years in KHL, then how long to adjust to NHL, (style), ice size and speed.
A quick training camp is nothin.

I dont think we need to worry about vasilines on ice performance whatsoever...its off the ice where his issues are for the team

if nothing else, JT Miller is durable -- 82, 82, 82 & 75 games last 4 seasons. Of course, joining #Canucks will put that to the test
