If LHD Byram is at Colorado’s 4th pick do you take him. Him and RHD Makar. Pretty slick D if you ask me

Him or Turcotte. They can’t lose. Thanks Ottawa. They have Timmins as well

What a fucking beating. Time to switch games. The Flames have no answer for that speed.

Johnny Hockey must be hurt again, his first playoffs (2015) he was on fire, 9pts in 11games. And then in 2017, 2019 held goalless.

Blobby's boys doing alright tho' in the series, Bennett with 1g, 3 assists? Matthew T with 2 goals.

Flames defense not chipping in at all.

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

I still can't believe the Flames went into the playoffs with Mike Smith as their starting goalie.

Ovechkin KO's the 19-year old Svechnikov.

Ovy could have let the kid get his gloves off. Didn't exactly do the back of his head any good when he was out cold hitting his head on the ice either.
Makes Ovy look like a pussy.
Guess it's Ok when it's another Russian.

Makar; Wins Hobey Baker, plays in Frozen Four, signs an NHL contract with the Avs, gets to the game tonight and scores his first NHL playoff
goal as a defense man/ never done before in NhL.
His parents were just able to make it to the game.
Oh Ya, he's from Calgary---

It's surprising for sure. But he has been exceptional. He made 49 saves tonight, 33 of them coming before the 10 minute mark of the 2nd period.

Calgary was quite simply out skated and out coached tonight. Same as last game where Smith kept the damage down to 3 goals and the team actually blocked some shots. Colorado has countered Calgary's attack very definitively since the start of game 2, and they have attacked the holes in the Flames' defense with precision. Bedard has done a great job of adjusting the Avs for their opponent, Peters not so much.

The kid was asking for it and he got it. What’s Ovechkin supposed to do coddle his head and prevent him from hitting the ice?

No kidding. What's Ovechkin supposed to do, not fight him? What's the narrative then? "Ovechkin refuses to fight 19 year old despite 40 pound weight advantage."

Kid learned a lesson, although I doubt he remembers much of the class.

From what I’ve read on Turcotte, I like this prospect. Didn’t play on the superstar line - Hughes, Zegras, Caulfield. Played with much lesser talent down the line up but play was very impressive, sounds like a more skilled version of Horvat.

What the f*ck ever!! Open your eyes! I didn't say coddle nor did I say he should have refused the fight.
