If Benning could get a second for Goldobin, my jaw would break from hitting the floor. If he could get a late draft pick, I’d be surprised.

Better get it done by or at the TD because trying to negotiate a new contract with that guy would be a nightmare.Cherry Picker wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 2:19 pm If Benning could get a second for Goldobin, my jaw would break from hitting the floor. If he could get a late draft pick, I’d be surprised.
I don't believe he has arbitration rights, thank Gawd, but still.
I think he may bring a little more than most think, if done this month. (insert glass half full smiley).

He’ll be in the KHL next year.

But then we get nothing! Poor Hansen. Probably would have done better if he'd stayed.Cherry Picker wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 2:52 pmNot hard to negotiate a take it or leave it league minimum on a two way contract, is it?Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 2:46 pmlol why would his contract negoation be a nightmare?micky107 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 2:29 pmBetter get it done by or at the TD because trying to negotiate a new contract with that guy would be a nightmare.Cherry Picker wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 2:19 pm If Benning could get a second for Goldobin, my jaw would break from hitting the floor. Twas a dirty hit. Happy it’s not a concussion or his shoulder again. No idea why the league doesn’t even look at that hit.

Manning on waivers from Edmonton... is he better than Schenn and Pouliot?

Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019
Is there anything the organization can do to address this problem? They got rid of players who got under the officials' skin. I thought the hiring of Jim "Good Ol' Boy" Benning and Trevor "You Owe Me One, Gary" Linden was intended partially to bring the Canucks into the insiders Club. What's left? Is there a tradition of payola at the League head office of which the Little Eagles are somehow unaware?rats19 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 3:26 pmYah it was totally.... confirmed the league continues to hate the CanucksBlob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 3:24 pmTwas a dirty hit. Remember after game 7, finals, 2011, Betman's asst. saying on the way out,
IT WILL BE A LONG TIME.

Unsure.... but I believe we are heading in the right direction. I guess it’s a “time “ thing plus the right moves.Ronning's Ghost wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 3:43 pmIs there anything the organization can do to address this problem? Re: Canuck News and Notes - 2018-2019
My experience is cracked or bruised it’s not till the next day the pain really starts... I’ve finished pitching a game after landing on a ball in my rib cage and the next day coughing makes you cry like a little girlHockey Widow wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 4:17 pm Even I have had broken ribs!
