Lol at Reilley as a top 10 overall

He’s a top pairing guy who needs a good partner. The rest of that D is pretty weak. I think Dermott can be a top 4 guy with his wheels and sense for the game, there’s hope for Liljegren for sure , but Gardiner will walk. They need to trade Nylander for a legit top 2/3 RH guy.

Middle of the pack... and why?

12 0 0 710 27 0 1 2.28 7 5 0 330 0.924
That's why.

As I keep saying, Mr Andersen is fine in the regular season when there is no pressure.

Totally different story in the playoffs.

(also that dee cracks and breaks in the playoffs when the opposing team is focused on exposing their holes)

Kings lose another goalie, with Jack Campbell out 4-6 weeks.

When Nilsson comes back, I'd love to see JB pull a pick out of LA for a goalie - especially since I think it'll be a high, high pick this year.

How many times do teams trade for a goaltender due to injuries.

Not very often.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

But Quick might be back in two weeks, Campbell in four.

Old Man Budaj has 158 NHL wins, hopefully he plays like a man possessed against the Leaves tonight.

Was just giving a possible instance whereby it could happen...

Yes and I would agree... if they were super-long-term injuries.

LA firing John Stevens was fairly unconventional, given where they were in the season and the injuries they've dealt with. They clearly thought they were "salvaging" the season with that move, now they're down 2 goalies. If they blow the next 2-4 weeks waiting for their goalies to come back, the season will be beyond saving.

So they give up a ton trading for a #1 goalie.

Then Quick and Campbell come back.

Then what?

Yeahno, roll with Budaj and play a more defensive style.

Also your Vancouver Canucks play LA twice in the next 2 weeks. ;)

This scenario arises every year, nothing happens.

No one learns.

Classic one for one change of scenery deal - Hagelin for Pearson, Kings just wanted to move on from Pearson and it's a cap move as they can let Hagelin go after the season while trying to remain competitive this season.

Pens likely get a better Pearson playing beside who else? none other than Crosby or Malkin, the pros of locking up your top two centers.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
