Yeah I’m fairly certain it was Blob. Although I read it as another 5 before we are Cup contenders, not playoff probables.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 8:50 amIt was?ESQ wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 10:01 pmWell, he's always had one year of wiggle room - last year it was focus on 1-2 years from now, so as DC4PM says, it's 0-1 now, or this year or next year.
I think blob's last prediction was we needed another 5 years of rebuilding?

Wonder if Brock is practicing face-offs?

Probably not, but then again, it would make some sense considering we are on the road for 6 and Pettersson, or anyone for that matter, is more

Prediction : Pettersson will score more goals than the combined total of both Seďins and Naslund in their rookie seasonCherry Picker wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 9:51 am Okay, I’m just going to put this out there. Is anyone else suspecting there is a plot by some covert Swedish organization that assembled a bunch of brilliant but ethically suspect Swedes to somehow master control of Enigma Force to create a tetragametic chimerism of the Sedins. As we all know Enigma Force has been repeatedly used to create different versions of Captain Universe. Doesn’t the nickname “Alien” and “Captain Universe” have a strikingly similar connotation? Pettersson obviously has Sedinery in his blood. He shoots like a young Daniel and passes like a young Hank. Is this just a coincidence?

Canucks prospect Jack Rathbone named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week
NOVEMBER 5, 2018, 12:22 PM | RYAN BIECH
A slightly forgotten prospect has made a mark on the NCAA early in his collegiate career.
2017 4th round pick Jack Rathbone was named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week today:
Harvard Men's Hockey
After picking up five points (2G, 3A) this past weekend, Jack Rathbone was named @ECACHOCKEYMWD1 Rookie of the Week!
This performance saw him post one goal and one assist in the Friday night contest against Quinnipiac and then followed that up with a one goal and two assist performance against Providence on Saturday night. Rathbone now has six points (2-4-6) in three NCAA games this season.
Taken in the fourth round in 2017, the left-handed defender returned to US High School hockey last season before finally heading to Harvard this year.
Rathbone started the season on the second pairing before being moved up to the top pairing with Carolina Hurricanes prospect Adam Fox and clearly has made the most of the opportunity. Obviously, we are only a couple of games into his collegiate career but Rathbone has been solid in all three zones displaying his skating and offensively abilities regularly while showing flashes of physical play. His play in his own zone is still an area to work on thus far but he’s held his own thus far.
He likely won’t continue a 2.0 PPG pace for the season but great to see the 19-year-old off to a great start.

Rathbone might be the late defensive Gem this club needs. Years away from prime time the kid made a huge jump this year in rookie camp. Nice pick Bracket sp

Club should rest Boeser till this disappears. To bad our two stars just syncing up. Going to be one of top lines in the league.

Think they put Achie in over Leipsic??
If yes, Leipsic is looking at waivers as we get healthy....

If we get all 6 of our key players back it will take a lot of juggling.Madcombinepilot wrote: ↑Mon Nov 05, 2018 6:58 pm Think they put Achie in over Leipsic??

Right now we have 1 player out on all 4 lines plus 2 dmen. It's amazing how
we are winning any games.
