Didn't catch the game...but heard the ERIKSSON - SUTTER line was crazy good.
A long time ago, a baseball player remarked: "If I owned a ballclub, I'd hire a $5,000 coach and a $15,000 scout."

The win went against the run of the play.
Markstrom was good, ... & we were lucky.

I missed half the first period and then half of the second period. What I saw was fairly even, and the Canucks put Boston on their heels a bunch with some really fast puck movement. The parts I saw of the first 2 periods made me think Boston was lucky to only be down by a single goal. The 3rd period Boston had the majority of the momentum it seemed, but we hung on. Luck went both ways, and in OT it was 50/50 for opportunities from my perspective.

Over that last 37 min of reg time, Boston out shot the Canucks 24 - 9, & hit 3 posts. I admire your rose coloured glasses, but we were hanging on.
The Canucks problems this game may be in part due to fatigue following the road trip. We will see.
On the positive side, we out hit the Bruins handily.

Yeah I think maybe your knees were blocking your view if you that that was an even game for the last two periodsMeds wrote: ↑Sun Oct 21, 2018 1:38 pmI missed half the first period and then half of the second period. Finally watched the game.
Same lack of forecheck as in the Jets game. They are sending two guys, but one is delayed. Not pressure on the intial D retrieving pucks but attempting to disrupt the second pass and breakout to the neutral zone. Not really an effective style to create turn overs but it helps the Vancouver D from being overwhelmed by the opposition rush. A eunuch style.
It would be nice if the Horvat line learned to cycle a quarter as well as the retired guys did.
Lil' trojan had two chances to clear the puck. 1st time he passes to a player being checked closer than himself, second time he puts it on the oppositions tape. Tops it off by being lazy getting to the bench for a too many men call. How long do we have to watch this clown. He's not the offensive PP qb he was supposed to be, he's a defensive liability and continues to make bad decisions.
I can only assume the PR dept wants to do another baton pass ceremony and the old guys are staying away until next year so Bo gets an A and not the C he deserves.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Not sure where you got that I thought it was an even game for the last two periods.
