So, Roussel out with a concussion.
Wonder if it is "all" from a summer blind side hit.
Hope it isn't something accumulative from all those fights; ouch.
Would that be damaged goods?
Not good.
On a lighter note; Jake Virtanen crashed into the net after skating threw vomit supplied by Troy Stecher on his bag skate.
Jake is fine.

Sharing my innermost thoughts:
Whenever I see Jonathan Dahlen I think about Steve Larmer and I don’t know why.
I’m sure this is either some kind of hugely insightful connection, or, I’m going insane.

On th bright side, with Rousel on the IR, we just solved the 'too many people at camp' issue. Benning now has time to evaluate everyone and trade whomever..

But, but, but... there’s no Gagner.... and just one too many Goldobins.
Can we just trade Gs?
Take out a Gagner and Goldobin and replace with a Gaudette and Gadjovich, brilliant!
Maybe skip the placeholder stage and go with their destined future line-up right away:
Dahlen Pettersson Boeser
Baertschi Horvat Virtanen
Gadjovich Gaudette Palmu
Schaller Beagle Sutter

A good read. Some interesting line combos . Looks to me like Petterssen will probably make the canucks as a center . The 3 G's - Granlund, Gaunce and Gagner arent much competition. If Roussel is on ir we might see Gadovitch on the 4th line .micky107 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 14, 2018 11:18 pm A bit late, sorry...

Putting Louie on the first line with Horvat and Boesser seems a bit strange?

Gadjovich won’t be making the team this year

Benning would be doing the empty seats at Rogers Arena a massive favour by getting rid of the oh so exciting crowd pleaser tweeners like Gagner and Granlund and inserting what the fans want - the Gaudettes and Dahlins but that’s not how they roll

I found this PITB article interesting.
I don't know why it hadn't occurred to me all summer, but acquiring PKers was a good move. Even though Eriksson excels on the PK, I truly believe he will have much more value (to the Canucks and as a possible trade asset) if his PK time is reduced and he gets on the PP. For Horvat, while he's improving as a PKer and that's a great skill for him to develop as future-captain, I'd like to see him in a reduced PK role.

Saw on another site, beagle came in in better shape then what the Sedins are usually in, was lapping guys in the bag skate. Gaunce is looking fast and ready.ESQ wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 11:43 am I found this PITB article interesting.
