Hey: If one gets going enough, (snow-ball rolling down a mountain), it can become reality.
All that means is so many people have read about it, the principals actually think about it and end up doing just that.

Plus it gives us something to argue about, or at least have a discussion about.micky107 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 2:29 pmHey: If one gets going enough, (snow-ball rolling down a mountain), it can become reality.

Is Blob really a 'partier'? Or a drinker? There's a big difference between the two.Strangelove wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 2:31 pmHe makes Nick Nolte blush!Richardstroker69 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 2:28 pmBlobs a partier?Strangelove wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 1:46 pmNo idea if this is true, but rumour is he likes to party like Blob.

True, I didn't want to say "drinker" due to my commitment to political correctness.

There's no stigma attached to "drinker" - especially on this board!Strangelove wrote: ↑Mon Jun 11, 2018 2:45 pmTrue, I didn't want to say "drinker" due to my commitment to political correctness.

Roster movement is fun and leads to great discussions and speculation about how better or worse teams will be. Tavares signing anywhere but NYI is going to change things in a big way for a few teams depending on where he winds up. The Islanders may as well slit their wrists and get it over with if their franchise player leaves for absolutely nothing!
If he ends up in the Pacific it's going to make things that much harder for us. We'll be facing two of the top centres in the game on a regular basis!

Yeah that fat piece of shit isn’t coming back. He’s married an Indian gal and consumes copious amounts of butter chicken and got his class 1. He’s out in Delta somewhere chowing down in a samosa or a bearded clam

I had an opinion about that

I'm excited about Elias Pettersson's potential, too, but am I really being that ultra-conservative in asking to see him play an NHL game (let alone a season) before declaring him the first-line centre that the Canucks will need to build around?
He does not seem to fit (Hockey Widow's gracious explanation of) Benning's model
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9706&hilit=model&start=5010
Has anyone heard whether the model has officially changed (In response to evolution of the league, players available, or other new data) ?
