Will Dave Nonis step up to the plate and fire the guy already?

I voted no just because if I'm right, I won't be surprised...

I also voted no because it just seems like Nonis likes him too much and has too much respect for him. It may take another year for Nonis to tire of his well documented antics.

I figure that since they haven't sent him packing yet, he's going to be around another year.... :(

I don't think so ... it has been talked about alot that Bert is the problem in the dressing room ... a new coach won't guarantee that that problem will go away ... Bert will go ... Crow will stay.

I would say yes but just after they found a new "quality" coach.

If they don't think to get one who's worth it, Crow stays.

I voted yes because I think he's waiting to put a mark on his team, but doesn't want to be forced into making any trades. If we keep him, it's clear that Bert has to go and Nonis has less negotiating power, there are a number of viable options (Brent Sutter, Andy Murray, Alain Vigneault), and even if we do move Bert, there are other players that still reportedly have problems with Crow (Morrison, insert-back-up-name-here).

Replacing Crow won't fix all our problems, but it'll signal a new direction and Nonis has good reason, 1 playoff win and now a playoff miss. If we keep him, questions about coach-player conflict will haunt us into next season, diminishing any "new momentum".

I think he'll be around next year. The real question for DN is was his message wearing thin? Or were the players just not willing to buy in?

If it's the former, then turf Crawford. If it's the latter, get rid of the players who refuse to buy in.
