Why would we trade down Mëds?

For me last year's draft was a lot more painful as we had far higher chances of drafting in the top 3. This year was always a crapshoot.
You can thank Edmonton and Buffalo for the new lottery system

I can’t see a great desire for a team behind us wanting to move up to 7th

Draft Dobson or draft and trade Wahlstrom for a top young D man, if there is one

The big talents in this draft are gone in the top 3.

If someone comes along and wants to make a deal that makes sense, why wouldn’t we?

You don’t think Dobson or Bouchard are worth getting

Why is 4-14 done behind closed doors? I find it very very hard to believe that it’s not pre- ordained

Don’t know enough about them. They are draft picks. They are risks. If another team will hand over futures and something known to be good, then go for it.

Cause then the NHL can maintain the illusion that they aren’t fucking us over on the regular.

I believe the lotto is recorded on camera with witnesses for verification purposes.

The post it for all to see.

The whole thing should be done live, do not need any big pieces of freaking cardboard with the teams logo on the back.

I do not trust Buttman for anything, he is a fake commissioner.

Repeated tanking pays off. Buffalo wins the lottery for the 3rd time in their history.

At least the Coil finally gets punished by the Hockey Gods.

Linden on record saying this could be a good year for the Canucks to trade down and still get who they want.

Nah don't do it, it's not worth it to risk it.

I'd much rather them trade Edler or Tanev to acquire more picks.
