Playoffs
Jim Mora’s favourite word
Jets look good. What does Brandon Tanev’s grill look like today ? It’s a shame the two best teams in the West will meet next round.
Here come the Flyers.
Should be a good game between the leaves and Bruins tonight

“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

When you watch the speed and pace of the playoffs you realize the Canucks are three or four years away from participating in them.

Yeah, assuming they get there, that should be the best series in the tournament.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sat Apr 14, 2018 7:22 am

Re: Playoffs
Kind of like 2009 and 2010 when Canucks and Hawks were probably the two best teams in the west (2nd round match ups) and then again in 2011 when they met in the first round.Island Nucklehead wrote: ↑Sat Apr 14, 2018 11:20 amYeah, assuming they get there, that should be the best series in the tournament.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Sat Apr 14, 2018 7:22 am

Close. The Canucks/Hawks were 6-7 in '09, 3-5 in '10, and 1-13 in '11. Those are closer to the current Boston-Toronto (4-7) series.
The Preds and Jets finised 1-2 in the league this year.

Re: Playoffs
Where's Tuna?
Re: Playoffs
Looks like the Bruins will sweep the leaves, Jets to sweep the Wild, Preds sweep Avs, Lightning to sweep the Devils, Kings will have to start scoring if they want to help Quick's dominant performances, Sharks should sweep the Ducks.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.
Re: Playoffs
But.....the leaves were 68% in the face off circle! That should count for something....shouldn’t it? That should give tuna something to brag about....cause there ain’t much else!

Re: Playoffs
That's one of the few statistical categories indicating the continued utility of Brandon Sutter (FYI, Brad Richardson is better in this category).
