Class act all the way - for the team and the city.

I was ok with them coming back, but not disappointed about their decision to retire.

Tough to see them go - we had so many good years. I hope they stay in Vancouver and can still work with the organization in some small way. Such good human beings the last 3 games fans will go nuts for these guys and the last game will be truly special.

Next year things are really opening up for new leaders and forward spots...will be so weird to see a Canucks team with out the Sedins. :(

O.k. I admit it, reading their letter made a lump in my throat. To tell the truth I don’t think I appreciated them for how good they really were. I guess one just gets used to seeing their skill all the time.
Going to miss them for sure, but as somebody else said, it certainly opens the field up for the new guys. Excited for next year I am 8-)

End of an era.
They came as close as any in Vancouver to the holy grail.
Classy HHOF careers.
They’ll be raising a couple new numbers to the rafters soon, which will be well deserved.
Wish them the best.

Proud to cheer for a team that featured them as stars. They did the team, the city and their fans proud with how they carried themselves.

They couldn't have played this scenario any better given their desire to retire. No long, drawn out farewell tour of a season. There was speculation but they managed to keep that storyline under the radar as best they could. Now that the season is all but done, they have two home dates and one away game to say farewell on the ice. Enough time for the club to do something (no doubt something bigger will be done at the season-opener, and passing of the torch kind of thing to the new captain) before the last home game.

It also gives the organization more time regarding how they navigate this off-season. As they dissect what they have going forward with the season drawing to a close, it's one key question answered and one less distraction.

As good a time as any to hang them up. Good on them.
Love the Sport. Love the Team.

reposting my og post here.

Yup Salute to the Sedin bros one of the hardest working leaders this team has had.

Didn't think it would happen so quick, but good on them to just say it out loud so the team behind-the-scenes can start planning for the future and other vets on the team can plan theirs as well.

Be an emotional ride these next few games and their tribute video next season along with retiring #22 and #33 to the rafters.

& gotta wonder what Alex Edler, Chris Tanev and Loui Eriksson will think about staying on the franchise now that it is in full rebuild mode, it's gonna be full of youth pretty dman quick.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

No surprise at all that they went out in such a classy, team-first manner.

I'm glad the future is in the hands of classy, non-douchey guys like Bo and Brock.

If the Canucks can find some way to replace the depth provided by the Sedins I'll be amazed, but the reality is they're leaving huge shoes to fill.

Sad to see them leave, but the way they do it is classy, as always.

Here is a mini-documentary from SVT about them being drafted.
It's mostly in English.

Thanks, Henrik and Daniel.

Your colossal contribution to the Canucks has only been eclipsed by your monumental contribution to the city of Vancouver and the province of British Columbia.

Skill, integrity, character, leadership, humility and generosity have been and will continue to be your legacy.

We shall not see your like again.

Vincibility lies in the enemy.
