Canucks sitting 28 with 2 games up on Ottawa and only 1 point over them so chance are good Ottawa passes them.
Arizona and Buffalo are just too bad to drop out if the 2 top picks. So it looks like the Canucks pick 6th again, after all you can guarantee the hockey Gods will screw the Canucks over.
Who will the genius pick this year?
Just do not want another player that will require 3-4 more years of development or a weight gain of 30-40 lbs. would like, just for once to sign a player who makes team right after we draft him. Highly doubt this will happen at 6th overall.
Sigh, some days it is really tough to be a Canuck fan.

I’m not sure Elmer gets to make that pick Reef. This team is in a nosedive right now and he’s a lame duck gm. I think they allow him to maybe move Vanek and get some outside counsel on a Gudbranson and/or Hutton move. I think it’s quite likely he gets the hook in April.
