Christmas time OOT
Time for a new OOT thread.
Watching the Habs and Sens tonight at Landsdowne Stadium. -19 out there tonight! Crazy how narrow the rink looks ... darkness , shadows ? Or just the new Toko vape pen I picked up ? I see Burrows is back in after being a healthy scratch. Both he and Hansen’s play have taken a major shit this year. Good call by Elmer to move those guys along last year.

Re: Christmas time OOT
Just got back from that game. Was chilly, but wasn't much breeze which helped. Layered up and had a pile of hand-warmers. The Landsdowne development is great, but the concourse is terrible. Gridlock at the intermission. The friends and family zone was set up in the arena under the bleachers (where the '67s play). Was nice to duck in there to heat up, the kid certainly liked that.Blob Mckenzie wrote:Time for a new OOT thread.

They did put on a good show with Bryan Adams at the intermission and a ton of stuff going on around the stadium beforehand. But at $340/seat face value tickets....glad they were free because I don't think the experience is worth paying that.

Did Benning win the Burrows/Dahlen trade? I believe Bubbles just said so somewhere else

Sad news, former NHLer enforcer Matt Johnson is now homeless.

Re: Christmas time OOT
Here's a funny story.
Had the neighbour over for the Pens-Jackets game tonight.
He brought his 2-year-old daughter.
At one point Letang and Josh Anderson drop the gloves.
But all that transpires is a giant bear hug.
2-year-old, watching intently, says "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH".
TWO DROPS CAME OUT!!

Here's another issue: certain threads are no longer dropping from the View Unread Posts list after you read them.
First it was CC Random thread, and now Christmas time OOT.
Edit: now that I've posted here, it's dropped from that view, but CC Random Thread is still there.

Canucks sinking without Horvat, both the Oilers and Avalanche have passed us in the standings. The Dude has gone into hiding.
