GDT: Dec 19/17 Habs @ Canucks 7:00pm SN

Post by Hockey Widow »

Ok, I'm feeling this one.

Nilsson gets the start.

Gudbranson is back in.

Hutton is a healthy scratch.

Bulldog has earned the right to stay in the line up!

Brockjesus is a game time decision. He took part in game day skate and says he's a little sore but hopeful to play tonight. Depends upon how the foot feels at game time.

Green wants to see Boucher so he may get into the game as well. Boucher decision independent of Boeser decision. Could be all three Boeser, Boucher and Goldobin drawn in. Montreal maybe the ideal opponent to have that lineup. Not as tough a team as some others is all I'm saying.

Although we are still well within striking distance of a playoff spot we now have five teams to leap frog. Damn I'm still on the bus.....

Need goaltending.

That’s it.

Hard to score when you are digging the puck out of your own net after letting in weak goals.

Prefer to have Brock rest his foot.

So is the team starting an on-off series? If so, this should be a good game. :D

Otherwise, we better get use to football scores.

As much as Boeser is the about the only reason to watch this team right now, I'd rather see him not play if he's not ready - there is ZERO reason for him to rush back.

GO CANUCKS GO!

Boeser might really want to win the Calder trophy.

He is the reason that I do believe we can officially say that "Canuck Luck" as we have meant it is OVER.

For sure. The kid oozes with character and is the best young player I've seen breaking through since maybe Naslund.

He was racing "dragging" himself to the bench last game because he was being cautious with his owee,
but knew the rules of his team having possession and didn't want to mess them up.
What a guy.

Don't know why they'd scratch a lefty when, with Gudsbranson back, they are overloaded with rightys.

Doesn't the lil' trojan have toys to build?
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Stecher was bad last game but Hutton was worse...

Lefties tonight: Edler, MDZ, Pouliot.

Righties: Gudbranson, Biega, Stecher.

Ya like overloaded with righties? Just that Pouliot shifts to play rightie when they are overloaded with lefties so some may be confused that he is a rightie. He's not. So he will get to play in his correct position.

Pouliot seems to have jumped Hutton in the depth chart. Not surprising given Green's history with Pouliot, oh and he's been playing better than Hutton. Good to see Green going by merit. Of all the lefties Hutton is struggling more than the others.

Hutton (Gillis puck) - the softest D-man to put on a Canuck jersey since the Crescent Beach chillaxer - Jason Garrison gets a well deserved scratching. Yo

Everybody wants to trade Gudbranson, yeah no. Mr. Glass - Tanev, Hutton and Edler should all be considered bait long before the Viking.
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau
