Nice effort from the guys tonight. Injuries or not that was an embarrassing loss and rotten effort to treat the home fans to. Show some pride for Christ sakes.
Dudes favourite player Sam Bennett with a 4 point night and now with 15 points in his last 19 games. Tkachuk also scores and had a strong game.

Man, I'm a bit surprised that our team just completely fell apart after losing BoHo, throw in losing Brockstar and we just look demoralized. Pretty much the Canucks of the past 2 seasons again. I was hoping different guys would step up in Bo's absence, like Samwise, Granny, Hank and Burmy. They did get on the scoreboard I guess, but we've been getting blown out too often in the past few games, something that didn't really happen for the most part this season, as we have been very competitive and have been in games. Man, Bo and Brock are like 2 of our youngest players too, one a rookie. Where are the vets? They need to step up, show they're still leaders of this team, the experienced guys and why they earn the fat pay cheques, but they're nowhere to be found, so sad.
I thought maybe we could stay like .500, till Bo gets back and maybe make a push later, but it looks like the ship has sunk. We really need these wins against conference teams like the Flames, at least a split; they swept us in the past 2 games and it doesn't look good.
Highlight of the game, seeing Courts in the house.

Too bad. I think they had a good chance to make the playoffs if they had stayed healthy. Now the wheels have fallen off. Both goalies are looking like backups now. Was hoping one would develop into a legit starter. Looks like Demko and Depietro have a clear path.
We are all Snidely Whiplash.

Yeah that was a stinker. We're frikin cursed with the injuries - unbelievable!
No worries, the excitement of a 5th pick awaits - just 6 months to go!
Margarita anyone?

I believe the term was STALWART if not mistaken for both...Blob Mckenzie wrote:Nice effort from the guys tonight. Injuries or not that was an embarrassing loss and rotten effort to treat the home fans to. Show some pride for Christ sakes.

Perhaps the training staff needs to look into Vitamin D supplements.Strangelove wrote:

I've watched it over and over, zoomed in on it and honestly I don't know what he could have done different.
He covered a position that needed covering, perfectly, nothing wrong there.
As a coach, you wouldn't want to discourage a multi talented player by saying, don't block shots.
Can't see if he was wearing the optional ankle pads. Some do, some don't.
The crutches don't mean shit. Got to use them until scanned.
Might not be as bad as it looked.
All great to say the team isn't playing well, (and they aren't), but the goal tending situation is deplorable.

Sad time to be a Canucks fan. The injuries are way to many to overcome
The goaltending sucked. Looked like the whole team gave up after the 2nd goal.
Without Dorsett, Sutter, Gudbranson, Horvath, Baetchi And Boesser we are well
and truly screwed. The only players that had decent a decent game were Jake and Biega.
Edler is playing too many minutes. Del Sotto still sucks. Hate to see the damned Flames
whooping Canucks so easily.
