Labate crunched tkachuk just after he passed it off and got an interference penalty for being bigger. Tkachuk heads to the locker room.

Apparently he's back because he's put the Flames up 2-1. That probably won't be the last goal-mouth shovel he puts in on us.

Nice pass by Grans, good to see Brise get one.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Liked Rodin, Gaunce, Rendulic, Zalewski, Granlund,Skille, Labate

Thought Burrows, Baertschi were disappointing and mailed it in

Defensemen were average

Trouba > Tanev.

Powerplay needs Edler - Stecher a$ap rocky.

larsen allegedly had good analytics, but failed the eye test. hmm emoji.

Tryamkin must break you, it's nice to have mammoth tough dmen for once in Canucks country, he Guds and Pedan would be nice to have vs the dirty teams.

Granlund is showing his setup skills this game.

Tanev looked lost a few times, Hutton saved him a few times. Hutton looks great. Tanev continuing to take huge hits.
Tryamkin is a really good skater but he needs to practice his stance in scrums and shoving matches, (Bieksa was a master at that)
After the last 2 games, it's clear to me that Stecher has to stay. Utica will not help him. He's 22 and a half, maybe 5 foot 10 but plays big and carries more weight than Tanev. No size problem there.
Best 4 defense men I've seen so far are Guds, Edler, Hutton and Stecher.

A few comments;

Skille isn't. Now that the WC is over, how soon can the PTO's get cut.

Rendulic is intriguing, has that big guy lazy coasting stride but showed some wheels and has size. Grenier had a couple of nice shifts as well.

Rodin and Bearshee have something going. It would be interesting to see them with Sutter and/or Horvat.

On the limited PP time, puck movement was very good.

Tramking fights like Bubla.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

But what about Subban!?! The lineage he comes from?
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Was in everyone's best interest to promote Subban a bit...
All I ever meant.
Subban is not Stecher.
